These days there are so many ways to make money online. I’ve created this list of 5 types of online businesses for those who are interested in starting an online business and want to know what options there are.

This is the act of selling products on the internet. Opening online stores using Shopify, Wix or any number of online platforms is easy and simple. Reselling and dropshipping are a couple of methods used for e-commerce.
Dropshipping is the act of selling merchandise via a third-party where you hold no inventory. You will list the product on your website and once the item is sold, the order will be fulfilled and shipped by the vendor; leaving less work for you. You set the price and make the profit based on the cost of the item. You spend no money on the actual product, only on promoting and advertising your website.
Reselling can be done in several different ways, by simply buying a product for a low price and selling it for a higher price to make a profit.
2. Affiliate Marketing:
The act of promoting other business’ products in order to receive a percentage of the sale. This is great if you have an audience of people who would buy what you recommend. Once someone buys the product that you’re promoting using your online code you receive a piece of the profit.
You can use Amazon affiliate marketing to find products to promote, or you can hire affiliate marketers for your own brand to help increase sales of your product. Either way, affiliate marketing is a great way to make money with a low barrier to entry.
3. Social Media Management:
If you enjoy being on social media then you can get paid to manage other business’ social media platforms. This can be for local businesses, or individuals such as artists, etc.
4. Blogging:
If you’re knowledgeable about topics that other ppl are interested in then blogging may be right for you. Bloggers write articles online and generate revenue from advertising on their blogs. Google ad sense will pay a blogger based on how many clicks you receive on your webpage.
5. E-books:
If you have a special skill or talent writing an ebook is a great way to profit online. Once you write your ebook, you can self publish and sell it via Amazon self publishing. This is a great way to bring in residual income from your intellectual property via your ebook.
